Soulja Boy was due to play a gig in Washington, D.C. this past Saturday. Unfortunately, he had to cancel gig after police ordered event organizers to end the show due to a series of fights and issues over money.

Soulja posted explanations on his twitter page: “I’m so sorry to disappoint my DC fans but the promoters did not have all the money. I still tried to perform but I couldn’t even get inside!”, later adding, “I tried to perform for free! But it was (sic) so many fights at the side door that the police shut it down! My apologies I will be back!”

Let’s hope his next show can go down, drama free!!!

First up, his cover shot for XXL magazine with 50 cent. The covers controversial pose had twitter and a few celebs in frantic craze over the shot.

Phonte from Little Boy wrote on his twitter page: “This 50/Soulja Boy XXL joint look like the cover of “Deepa: The Prison Rape Periodical”.

My only question is for 50 Cent…what’s up with the face mask?!?!?!

And now, the most controversial cover, which left fans and religious followers alike feeling angry and disrespected after Soulja’s posting of it on Twitter.  Why, you ask?  Let’s take a look at the pic first, discuss last.
